SVNL operates a modern facility with high-capacity production lines for tablets, capsules, ointments, and more, adhering to GMP standards.

The company is NAFDAC-approved and partners with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Health to support local drug production. Its product portfolio includes vitamins, antibiotics, and over-the-counter supplements.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Chemist
Location: Makun, Ogun

Job Description

The Production Chemist is responsible for overseeing and executing chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring that production is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The role involves monitoring chemical reactions, maintaining equipment, managing documentation, and supporting continuous process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

* Execute Production Processes: Carry out chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing as per batch production records (BPRs) and SOPs.
* Monitor Quality and Compliance: Ensure all products meet quality specifications and adhere to GMP, safety, and environmental standards.
* Equipment Handling: Operate and monitor reactors, mixers, dryers, and other production equipment.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of batch production, raw material usage, and deviations.
* Support Process Improvements: Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization initiatives.


Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 1 - 10 years work experience.
