In celebration of National Police Day, operatives of the Nasarawa State Command have carried out a community service and sanitation exercise across Lafia, Karu, and other major towns in the state.

SP Ramhan Nansel revealed this to journalists in Lafia, stating that this initiative is designed to promote environmental cleanliness while fostering a stronger bond between the police force and the public.

According to Nansel, the sanitation exercise took place in prominent public spaces, including motor parks, markets, and other designated areas, with the goal of ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment for residents.


Speaking at the event, Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, expressed his appreciation for the police personnel’s commitment to the initiative.

He also encouraged the public to adopt regular sanitation habits to help maintain a clean and healthy community.

Nansel added that the Nasarawa State Police Command remains dedicated to promoting community engagement and improving public safety through such meaningful activities.
