Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about the current state of his relationship with fellow Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid and Burna Boy.Travel guides

In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the Fem crooner revealed that while he once had a close personal relationship with both artistes, that is no longer the case.

“I don’t have a personal relationship with them [Wizkid and Burna Boy]. I did at some point in time,” Davido said.

He went on to highlight that the global conversation around Afrobeats has evolved beyond the trio often referred to as the “Big 3.”

“The conversation is bigger than the ‘Big 3’ right now; there’s Rema, there’s Ayra Starr and other artists. Right now, I think the three of us understand that it is bigger than us,” he added.

Davido also addressed his reported fallout with fellow singer Tiwa Savage, describing their rift as a typical sibling quarrel.

“Tiwa Savage is my sister for life. I love her and her child, we are family. Our fight is just like a brother and sister’s fight. I will never allow anything to happen to her,” he assured.
