Former Rivers State Governor and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media and Public Communications, Lere Olayinka, took to X (formerly Twitter) to claim that a “online” lawyer has been interpreting the Supreme Court’s ruling on the constitutionality of Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s budget presentation to the House of Assembly, which was chaired by Rt. Hon. Oko-Jumbo, on social media.
According to a post on the official X handle of Lere Olayinka, the Media Aide to the FCT Minister shared a video of a lawyer reacting to the judgement. He said that an “online” lawyer was giving a wrong interpretation of the judgement.

Lere Olayinka had written, “Here is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, speaking about implications of the dismissal of Governor Fubara’s appeal against the Appeal Court judgment declaring illegal, his presentation of the 2024 to a House of Assembly other than the one led by Martins Amaewhule.
