At least, two people have been confirmed dead and ten others abducted following a fresh attack by suspected bandits on Kwaren Ganuwa community in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, also left three persons injured, according to reports shared by a security analyst, Bakatsine, in a post on X on Friday night.

The post revealed that the attackers stormed the quiet community around dawn, firing sporadically to scare residents before abducting several people and carting away valuables.

“This morning, bandits attacked the Kwaren Ganuwa community in the Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State. They killed two people, injured three and kidnapped at least 10 people during the attack,” Bakatsine wrote.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the attack.
