Armed bandits on Saturday night abducted all the passengers traveling in a vehicle along the Malumfashi–Funtua road in Katsina State.

The incident, which reportedly occurred near the outskirts of Burdugau community, was revealed in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle on Sunday.

“Last night, bandits from the Burdugau outskirts area intercepted vehicle along the Malumfashi–Funtua road in Katsina State, and abducted all its passengers,” he wrote.


However, the exact number of victims remains unconfirmed.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
