The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, has officially welcomed key political figures who recently defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party to the APC.

The high-profile decampees include Senator Abdurrahman Sumaila, who represents Kano South Senatorial District, and Kabiru Rurum, the member representing Rano/Kibiya/Bunkure Federal Constituency.

Others received into the APC fold are former Secretary to the Kano State Government, Baffa Bichi; former federal lawmaker representing Danbatta/Makoda, Badamasi Ayuba; Abdullahi Sani Rogo; Zubairu Hamza Masu; Muhammad Diggol; Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada; and Abbas Sani Abbas.
Ganduje warmly received the former NNPP stalwarts, symbolising their official integration into the APC on Thursday.
