Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has forwarded a list of 16 commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.


The nominees, announced during Monday’s plenary by the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, include six former cabinet members and two former State House of Assembly members.

Among the notable names are the former Majority Leader, Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga, and Hon. Mohammed Agah Muluku.


The list also features three women: Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi, Princess Margret Itaki Elayo, and Barr. Judbo Hauwa Samuel.

In his address, Speaker Jatau urged the nominees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) by Thursday and prepare for screening scheduled for the following Monday.
