Niger Tornadoes technical adviser Majin Mohammed said that the blending of home-based and foreign based players is an healthy development for the Super Eagles.

Mohammed stated that the development will help Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle in achieving his objective for the team.

DAILY POST recalls that the Malian coach invited 10 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) players for the Unity Cup Tournament in London.


“At least he (Coach Eric Chelle) showed that given the home boys opportunity to mix with the foreign base players Super Eagles can go places,” Mohammed told DAILY POST.

The Ikon Allah Boys tactician also praised Papa Daniel Mustapha for his hard work and discipline in the Super Eagles.

“He is very hard working, discipline and always ready to learn . He is doing his best, trying to adapt to the system playing with the big boys.”
