Katsina United head coach Azeez Audu has picked the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 31 fixture against Ikorodu City as the most difficult game his team played in the 2024/25 season.

The Chanji Boys suffered a 6-0 loss to Ikorodu City in the encounter played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Audu described the fixture as unforgettable.


“The most difficult match in the just concluded season for me as a coach is our match against Ikorodu City,” Audu told Nigerian Players Gallery.

“I think it’s unforgettable.”

The young tactician also identified their NPFL week 34 victory over Abia Warriors as their easiest match of the campaign.

Katsina United defeated Abia Warriors 5-1 in the encounter.

“Seriously no match is easy because we fight to get the three points,but i will say against Abia Warriors because we scored the highest number of goals this season against them.”
