Former Super Eagles attacker, Victor Obinna has revealed his expectations when Nigeria clash with Russia in Friday’s international friendly game in Moscow.

Obinna, who spent four years with Lokomotiv Moscow during his playing days, said he expects a very good game.

According to the former Inter Milan and West Ham United star, the current Super Eagles team under manager Eric Chelle is good.


“The current Nigerian team is a good team with a lot of good players, especially forwards,” Obinna told Championat.

“Of course, I’ll watch the Russia-Nigeria match. I think it will be a very good test for both teams.

“People in Nigeria are expecting a very good game because we’re facing a strong opponent,” he added.

The time for Russia vs Nigeria is 6 p.m., Nigerian time and it will take place in Moscow.
