The Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency has commiserated with the families, friends, and loved ones of those affected by the recent flooding in Ilu-Aje and Imini in the Afijio Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement on Saturday by the OYSROMA Chairman, Busoye Ogunlade, acknowledged the devastating impact of the natural disaster on communities, homes, and livelihoods.

“Last week, a casualty was recorded while a few others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

“My heart goes out to everyone affected by the devastating floods.

“May the love and support of family and friends bring comfort during this difficult time,” the statement partly read.

Ogunlade also assured affected residents of the areas that the agency would speedily look into ways of forestalling recurrence.

“May the affected individuals and families find strength during this challenging time,” the OYSROMA boss concluded.
