The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, President, Ibrahim Gusau, has confirmed his attendance for the Nigeria National League, NNL, monthly award.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

Gusau stated that his presence at the award ceremony is a way of supporting the second-tier league.


“I would be personally present to witness the awards as a way to show my support for the efforts of the NNL,” Gusau stated from the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2025 in Florida, USA.

Top on the list for the award is the Most Valuable Player – Valentine Ugwu of Solution FC; Highest Goal Scorer – Gukut Chindi from Edel FC; Best Goalkeeper and Best Coach go to Efevwerha Joke and Napoleon Aluma of Warri Wolves.

Sokoto United are the Best Behaved Team, while Shamsu Mohammed wins Goal of the Month.
