Galatasaray vice-president, Abdullah Kavukcu has said the club could be forced to look elsewhere following Victor Osimhen’s decision to keep the club waiting over his future.

Osimhen spent the 2024/25 season on loan with the Yellow and Reds, helping the club earn the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup.

The 26-year-old scored 37 goals and registered eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.


Galatasaray are desparate to sign the powerful striker on a permanent transfer, and have submitted their proposal to his representatives.

Osimhen have also rejected several offers from Saudi Al-Hilal.

The forward, who is currently holidaying in Nigeria recently said he will make a decision on his future soon.

Kavukcu, however, said time is running out for Galatasaray.

“He’s making us wait but time is running out. We’ve offered him figures higher than those proposed in Europe,” Kavukcu declared.
