Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has not been included in Napoli’s pre-season plans, according to Soccernet.

This comes as Osimhen is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Galatasaray eventually.

Both clubs have been locked in negotiations since last week over the terms of the deal.

The first bid from the Turkish champions was around €50 million and was quickly rejected.

Galatasaray increased their offer to €70 million, bringing it closer to Napoli’s valuation of Osimhen.

The Partenopeans began their pre-season camp on Monday, with returning players undergoing medical tests.

Osimhen was conspicuously absent from the Napoli squad.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray beat Umraniyespor 5–2 last week in a pre-season fixture.
