Two prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State, have been confirmed as bonafide members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, DAILY POST reports.

They are the former Governor of the state, Abdulfatah Ahmed and Bolaji Abdullahi, also a former Commissioner of Education in the state, under former Governor Bukola Saraki’s administration.

DAILY POST spoke to the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Babatunde Mohammed, on Wednesday in Ilorin who said the party was still compiling the list of defectors to the ADC across the 16 local government areas of the state.

He said the list of defectors in three local government areas of the state had already been compiled, though the number was not disclosed.

Bolaji Abdullahi is currently the acting national publicity secretary of the ADC.

Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, recently declared that he still remained a member of the PDP, even as the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has resigned his membership of the party.

Political analysts, however, speculate that the last may not have been heard about the depletion of the PDP in the state as more defectors are being expected.
