The spokesperson of the Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Cajethan Duke has announced his immediate resignation from the position, saying it is time to speak for the broader interest of people.

Sources also disclosed to LEADERSHIP that more people are expected to resign in the coming weeks without giving reasons for the impending resignations.

Duke uploaded a copy of the resignation letter which was received at the State party office to his Facebook page on Friday.

Let’s speak for the people, done speaking for the APC! A new dawn beckons!! Happy valentine my people! I’m Cajethan Duke,” he wrote.
