Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has urged the Nigerian Air Force to strengthen air surveillance in border communities to enhance security and maintain stability.
He made this appeal during a meeting with the outgoing Air Officer Commanding the Special Operations Command at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Bauchi, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong.

Governor Mohammed commended Effiong for his contributions to security in the state but stressed that more efforts are needed to tackle crime effectively.

He highlighted the necessity of close cooperation between the Nigerian Air Force and other security agencies to achieve lasting peace.
