Valencia manager Carlos Corberán has heaped plaudits on Umar Sadiq following the forward’s display against Villarreal.

Los Ches held Villarreal to a 1-1 draw at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Saturday night.

The hosts took the lead through Papa Gueye around the half hour mark.

Sadiq rose from the bench seven minutes from time to rescue a point for Villarreal.

It was the Nigeria international’s first goal of the season for Valencia.
