Security forces have arrested Ilu Dan Matawalle, a suspected informant for bandits, in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The arrest was disclosed by Bakatsine, a security analyst, on his official X handle on Tuesday.

Although authorities have yet to release an official statement, Bakatsine noted that the suspect had been allegedly providing critical intelligence to criminal groups operating in the area.

“Security forces have arrested Ilu Dan Matawalle, a suspected bandits informant in Bakori Local Government Area.

“Hopefully, people of Bakori, will stay informed about this case,” he said.

In a related development, Bakatsine also reported that bandits attacked Domar Gidan Suke community on Tuesday afternoon, where they rustled a large number of cattle without resistance.

“This afternoon, bandits stormed Domar Gidan Suke community and rustled a large number of cattle unchallenged,” he stated.
