Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal has named Liverpool as the only club that can win the UEFA Champions League trophy ahead of Barcelona this season.

Yamal spoke ahead of Barcelona’s LaLiga clash with Las Palmas this weekend.

Both Liverpool and Barcelona have already booked their place in the Champions League Round of 16 stage.The Reds finished in top position ahead of Barca following the conclusion of the Champions League group stage.

“I think that only Liverpool are more favorites than us in Champions League… as they arrived first,” Yamal told MD.

“We can compete to win it. We can be there.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid won the Champions League trophy last season.

The Los Blancos defeated Dortmund 2-0 in the final at the Wembley Stadium.
