Vice-President Kashim Shettima said that posterity would judge the country’s leaders harshly if they allowed public schools to collapse.

Shettima made this statement on Wednesday at the public presentation of tablets donated by MTN Nigeria Communications Plc to students of Government Science Secondary School, Pyakasa, Maitama, Abuja.

He said President Bola Tinubu was passionate about repositioning public schools, adding that the Student Loan Scheme was designed to ensure that children from poor backgrounds had access to education.
