Members of the Bauchi House of Assembly have pledged to increase funding for nutrition and primary healthcare services to tackle rising cases of malnutrition.

Speaking at a two-day meeting in Jos, Bauchi State House of Assembly Speaker, Abubakar Sulaiman, assured stakeholders, including the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, that despite the 2025 budget being passed, a supplementary provision would be made for nutrition.
