Gunmen have abducted a 22-year-old woman, Fatima Bello, and her three-year-old daughter, Nana Unaisa, in Malikawa Sarari, Bichi Local Government Area (LGA).

A report from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bichi revealed that around six armed assailants stormed the residence of Bello Murtala at about 9:00 p.m. on February 19, firing shots into the air before taking his wife and child away on motorcycles.

A police patrol team led by the DPO responded to the distress call, but the kidnappers had already fled before their arrival.
