All the eight teams that have qualified for the Europa League last 16 via the playoffs have been confirmed.

In the early kick-offs, Roma, AZ Alkmaar, Bodo/Glimt and FCSB booked their places in the next round.

Roma beat FC Porto 3-2 in a thrilling affair at the Stadio Olimpico, after the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw in Portugal.


AZ Alkmaar played out a 2-2 draw at Galatasaray and progressed with a 6-3 aggregate win.

Bodo/Glimt thrashed FC Twente 5-2 (6-4) and FCSB beat PAOK 2-0 (4-1).

In the late kick-offs, Real Sociedad, Fenerbahce, Ajax and Viktoria Plzen sealed their qualification.

Sociedad crushed FC Midtjylland 5-2 (7-3), while Fenerbache held Anderlecht to a 2-2 draw (7-3).

Ajax progressed despite a 2-1 (3-2) defeat to Union St Gilloise and Viktoria Plzen thrashed Ferencvaros 3-0 (3-1).
