A mother has told the police in Lagos that her 38-year-old husband and his 30-year-old friend are the owners of his 14-year-old daughter’s nine -month old pregnancy.

The woman told the police that her husband conspired to sexually defile the girl, his step-daughter in the Okokomaiko area of the state, Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of Lagos Police Command said in a statement on Saturday.


He said the two suspects have been taken into custody by the police for prosecution

Hundeyin said that the mother of the survivor reported the case on Friday at the Okokomaiko Police Division.

“The survivour’s mother said that her daughter was defiled by her husband and his friend.


“The case was transfered from Okokomaiko police division to the Gender Unit Ikeja.
