A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi has remanded three Lagos State House of Assembly workers over the alleged assault of officers from the Department of State Services, DSS.

The court issued the order on Tuesday, pending their arraignment on Wednesday.

The three workers, Ibrahim Olanrewaju, Fatimoh Adetola, and Adetu Adekunle, were charged with offences relating to the alleged assault of DSS officials while they were on duty at the Assembly complex on 17 February 2025.

DSS accused them of recording, cyberstalking, and circulating false information online to undermine law and order in Nigeria.

When DSS counsel Michael Bajela approached the court for their arraignment, Justice Daniel Osiagor stated that he wanted to review the case file.

DAILY POST recalls that DSS reportedly invaded the Assembly on Monday, 17 February, and took over the premises.
