LAPO Microfinance Bank (LAPO MfB) has reaffirmed its commitment to financial inclusion and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) empowerment through a high-level engagement with the Premia Business Network (PBN) delegation in Lagos.

The meeting, held at LAPO Place, brought together over 30 startup founders, senior executives, and key decision-makers from the financial services and fintech sectors. Led by social entrepreneur Bola Lawal, the PBN delegation explored strategic partnerships and potential collaborations aimed at driving SME growth and sustainability in Nigeria and beyond.

With over 30 years of experience in microfinance, LAPO MfB has been instrumental in providing financial and non-financial services to underserved entrepreneurs, fostering business expansion and economic development.
Speaking at the event, LAPO MfB’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Oluremi Akande, reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting SME entrepreneurs through innovative financial solutions and strategic alliances.

“At LAPO Microfinance Bank, we are dedicated to empowering SMEs and creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can thrive. Engaging with the Premia Business Network delegation provides an opportunity to align our mission with their initiatives, expand financial access, and drive digital transformation,” Akande said.
PBN leader Bola Lawal lauded LAPO MfB’s role in financial empowerment, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in bridging funding gaps and enhancing capacity building for entrepreneurs.
