Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has predicted a second-term victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, while also declaring that the Peoples Democratic Party will lose power in Delta State.

Keyamo made the remarks on Sunday in Ughelli, Delta State, at a reception welcoming Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru back to the All Progressives Congress.

Ogboru had previously left the party for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, where he contested as the 2023 governorship candidate.

Keyamo described Ogboru as “a great leader with massive grassroots support.”

He also commended what he tagged Ogboru’s “organic leadership,” stressing that “he (Ogboru) has been able to sustain his sprawling political base for ages, even without Federal power.”

Keyamo said, “PDP will fall in Delta in the next political dispensation.

“The President has won 2027 already.

“Here in Delta State, we lost 2023 simply because many stakeholders left APC in anger.

“But presently, we look forward to the future with much more certainty because the Olorogun Otega Emerhor-led reconciliation committee, together with the college of leaders, have worked very well in restoring unity to the Delta APC.”

Keyamo urged APC stakeholders in Delta State to further support the party college of leaders in the efforts to further guarantee more progress in the party.
