Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has promised that his country’s position in Tuesday’s talks in Saudi Arabia with US officials will be fully constructive.

Zelenskyy also expressed hopes for practical outcomes from the negotiations on ending the Russian war in his country.

“We hope for practical outcomes. Ukraine’s position in these talks will be fully constructive,” Zelenskyy said in a post on X.

The Ukrainian leader, who visited Saudi Arabia on the eve of the negotiations for talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, said that a significant part of his talks was dedicated to the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine.

DAILY POST reports that the United States’ and Ukrainian officials were to meet in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday for talks aimed at mending ties and gauging if Ukraine is willing to make concessions under President Donald Trump’s push to end Russia’s war with Ukraine swiftly.
