Osoba explained that the rescue followed reports of suspected terrorists moving with kidnap victims from Dipindu village in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

"Following the report, troops moved to the area and successfully rescued the two victims, who were subsequently handed over to the Seriki of Dipindu," he added.

Osoba stated that troops are increasing patrols and surveillance in their areas to limit the freedom of movement for criminals and stop more attacks.

He confirmed the military’s promise to protect lives and property, especially in communities facing kidnapping and other security issues in the North-West.

These recent rescue efforts come as the military continues to fight against insecurity and aims to bring peace back to troubled communities in Zamfara and Kebbi states.
