Abiodun praises Disu for sending aircraft to improve security in Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has praised the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu, for quickly sending an operational police aircraft to help with current security efforts in the state.

Governor Abiodun had asked for the aircraft to boost the state’s security measures and continue fighting crime and banditry. The Inspector General of Police quickly approved this request.

Receiving the aircraft and its crew for the Ogun State Government, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, thanked the Inspector General for his quick action and strong dedication to keeping lives and property safe in the state.

Mr Talabi pointed out that having the aircraft would greatly improve aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and quick response from security agencies. This will support ongoing efforts to clear Ogun State of criminal activities.

He called this development a strong sign of the good teamwork between the Ogun State Government and security agencies. He added that this partnership has been successful in protecting residents and important infrastructure.

According to him, the operational aircraft will further enhance Operation Kosaye, the joint security effort aimed at removing kidnappers, bandits, and other criminals from forests, border areas, and other risky spots in the state.

The governor reaffirmed his government’s promise to give the right support to security agencies so they can perform their duties well. He stressed that Ogun State will keep investing in projects that ensure peace, security, and long-term economic growth.
