Bwala criticizes NDC campaign council list
Daniel Bwala has criticized the NDC's campaign council list for the 2027 elections, claiming it is dominated by content creators and lacks mainstream media names.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Daniel Bwala, has criticized the Nigeria Democratic Congress for its National Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
Bwala said the list is mostly made up of content creators.
He shared his thoughts in a post on X on Sunday, just after the party revealed the council.
He also claimed the party did not reveal the names of its media representatives in mainstream broadcasting.
He wrote, “#PeterObi and NDC have released their list of campaign council members and as expected it is filled with content creators.
“They stylishly refused to name their campaign media surrogates in the mainstream media masquerading as OAP.”
Bwala’s comments came after the announcement, as political parties start to set up their campaign teams and strategies for the 2027 general elections.

Remember that the NDC had earlier announced the formation of the council. They said it would manage campaign activities across the country and coordinate efforts to gain support for its candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the party’s announced structure, its National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, will chair the council. The presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will be the co-chairman.
The party’s National Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe, was named vice-chairman, and its vice-presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, was appointed co-vice-chairman.
The NDC also named its National Secretary, Barrister Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, as the council secretary. Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim was appointed as director-general.
The party stated that the council would provide 'strategic leadership' and coordinate nationwide mobilization towards its vision of 'a new, just, and prosperous Nigeria'.
They also promised to run a 'people-centred and issue-based campaign'. They urged their members, supporters, and all Nigerians to stay united ahead of the elections.
