Candidates who took the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can start printing their original result slips from Wednesday.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) shared this news through its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to JAMB, the result slip includes candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other important security features needed for admission by schools.
“The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be available for printing today, Wednesday, 17 June 2026,” the statement says.
JAMB mentioned that the original result slip is one of the official documents needed for post-UTME screening and for admission consideration by universities and polytechnics.
Candidates are advised to check the information on their result slips carefully after printing. They should keep copies for future admission-related needs.
The release of these result slips will help with post-UTME registration and other admission processes for candidates looking to enter schools for the 2026/2027 academic session.
JAMB and leaders of tertiary institutions agreed on timelines to finish the 2026/2027 admission process.
In the annual policy meeting held in May, the leaders decided that public universities must wrap up their admissions by 31 October.
Private universities have until 30 November to complete their admissions, while other institutions must finish by 31 December.
JAMB warned that any school that does not complete its admissions on time will lose access to candidates on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
The board also announced a four-week grace period for candidates to accept or reject admission offers.
It noted that any offer not accepted within this time will be canceled if the institution requests it.
