The Igbo-Eze South local government secretariat in Ibagwa-Aka, Enugu State, looks different now. This change comes from the reconstruction done by Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze’s administration.

On 21 May, Mr Ukwueze, the council chairman, showed the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, around the newly reconstructed secretariat complex.

The minister praised the size, quality, and effect of the changes made. He noted that the visible benefits of good governance in Igbo-Eze South show the results of strong leadership and careful management. He also recognized Mr Ukwueze’s dedication to local development.

Mr Ukwueze said during the minister’s visit, "As a government, we remain deeply committed to consolidating on these achievements while continuing to align our local governance priorities with the broader developmental vision of the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for a greater and more prosperous Enugu State."
