Indian Man Attacks Truck Drivers in Lagos

A video showing an Indian man attacking two Nigerian truck drivers on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has caused a stir online.

The video, shared on X on Monday by a user named #Lagosreporters_, shows the man hitting one driver with a stick while others held down the second driver.

Reports say the Indian man runs a business on the expressway.

The post read, “Truck Drivers Mr. Riliwan Olajide and Taiwo Yinusa Beaten by Indian Nationals, Owners of Karma Agric Feed & Foods Ltd Located at Km 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in Conjunction with Hoodlums.”

In the footage, some of the man’s staff were seen trying to take the truck keys from the drivers. The drivers stood their ground, saying the trucks belonged to them and they would not give up the keys.

The situation got worse as the staff tried to force the keys from the drivers. During the struggle, the Indian man was seen hitting one driver with a stick, while another driver was kicked while lying on the ground, held down by the man’s associates.

Some staff members were heard shouting, “You dey fight our boss.”
