The husband of Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus, Sammy, has said he will take legal action against people sharing a viral video that shows the actress looking unwell.
The video, filmed on a movie set, caused a lot of talk on social media about how she looks. Some users made negative comments questioning her health.
On his Instagram page this Wednesday, Sammy reacted to the comments. He gave a strong warning against any more negative posts or false stories about his marriage.
"A picture and a video that do not represent what my wife looks like have been circulating online recently," he said. "I might choose to overlook all that and all the comments that have been made. But what I will not tolerate is someone making a derogatory pose or a misleading caption about my marriage. I will not tolerate that. I will take legal action. Be warned."
Sammy and Nkiru got married in January 2023. They celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this year. In a post on Instagram, Sammy praised Nkiru as a "hard-working woman" and a "home builder" who focuses on her faith.
As of now, Nkiru Sylvanus has not said anything about the rumors. Her last post on social media was made two days ago. In that message, she thanked her followers.
