The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is a grassroots campaign working to get support and votes for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. Today, Thursday, 9 July, they will officially welcome their national executive members.
The event will take place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Businessman Government Ekpemupolo, who started and funds the movement, said in a statement on Tuesday that this inauguration is to boost grassroots support and encourage civic participation across Nigeria.
Mr Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, stated that the economic and structural changes the Tinubu government is making are beginning to show positive results. He pointed to more foreign investment, growth in the Nigerian capital market, and better financial independence for state governments as signs of progress.
He called the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement a national grassroots platform that aims to support national development and back the federal government’s Renewed Hope agenda through community involvement and democratic participation.
This movement focuses on connecting with communities, households, and everyday Nigerians. They rely on local volunteers to carry out their initiatives.
Women and youth empowerment programs are key parts of their community outreach efforts.
Mr Ekpemupolo mentioned that the inauguration of the national executives will gather political leaders, community representatives, stakeholders, and other Nigerians. This is to strengthen grassroots support across the nation.
PREMIUM TIMES will provide updates on the event, which is set to start at 11 a.m.
