Sokoto Governor Announces New Appointments

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has made new appointments. He approved the hiring of six Special Advisers, three Senior Special Assistants, four Permanent Secretaries, and one Acting Permanent Secretary.

The announcement came through a statement from Abubakar Bawa. He is the Director General of Media and Publicity at the Government House in Sokoto.

The new Special Advisers include Garba Muhammad S/Birni, Mukhtari Bello Abdurrahman, Shi’itu M. Bello, Alhaji Tukur Sanyinna, Alhaji Abdullahi Jabo, and Mamman Aliyu Salisu.

For the Senior Special Assistants, the governor appointed Jummai Bello Kware, Nana Mamman Nasarawa, and Hon. Emmanuel Ekereke.

The Permanent Secretaries are Buhari Umar, Abdullahi B. Muhammad, Musa Muhammad, and Jibril Sa’adu. Aliyu Magaji is named as the Acting Permanent Secretary.

According to the statement, all these appointments take immediate effect.
