Ten members of the Ondo For Tinubu 2027 Movement in Akoko North-West Local Government Area have received N10 million from a local benefactor, Dr Olorunobi Olalere.

The beneficiaries, who belong to the group in Ward 3, got N1 million each, according to a statement from the ward coordinator, Akoni Aliu, on Monday.

Aliu noted that the donation came from Olalere, a native of Okeagbe, to support the group’s activities and the beneficiaries ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Olalere is an engineer and researcher, known for his work in the oil and gas sector. He is also recognized for backing community development projects in his hometown.

Aliu mentioned that the movement is mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election across the 203 political wards in Ondo State.

“The group is under the leadership of the governor. But one of our sons in Okeagbe, Dr Olorunobi Olalere, has empowered 10 members of the group with N1 million each, totaling N10 million for the 10 beneficiaries,” Aliu said.
