Uba Sani Calls for Support for Tinubu, Abbas in Kaduna
Kaduna Governor Uba Sani calls for support for President Tinubu and Speaker Abbas during the launch of new projects in Sabon Gari. He emphasizes the importance of ongoing development.

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has asked the people of Sabon Gari Local Government Area to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election and the return of Tajudeen Abbas as Speaker of the House of Representatives. He highlighted their work in developing the area.
Sani, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Abdulkadir Meyere, spoke on Saturday at the launch of several constituency projects and the opening of a 20-bed primary healthcare centre that Abbas facilitated in Sabon Gari LGA.
The governor praised Abbas for focusing on projects in education, healthcare, security, and infrastructure. He described these efforts as key to the growth of the local government area.
Sani encouraged the people to keep supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC). He said that continuing good leadership will help finish ongoing projects and attract more development.
He said, “Some of these projects may not be completed before the elections. I, therefore, urge you to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election and the return of Tajudeen Abbas as Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“Vote for the APC at all levels because continuity in governance will sustain the development we are witnessing and ensure the completion of these projects.”
Abbas, who led the groundbreaking ceremonies and opened the healthcare facility, mentioned that the projects are meant to meet community needs and improve access to services.
“The projects are designed to expand opportunities, improve public services and address critical needs in our communities, particularly in education, healthcare and security,” the Speaker said.
The projects include a 10-classroom block at Saidu Primary School in Samaru, a new secondary school in Samaru, a National Open University study centre, a computer-based testing centre at Dogarawa, and a diagnostic centre at Isa Chikaji Primary Healthcare Centre.
Other projects are a 20-bed primary healthcare centre at Zangon Dan Borno in Dogarawa Ward, and a proposed police station at the Queen Elizabeth Area Command in GRA.
On education, Abbas said, “The construction of the 10-classroom block at Saidu Primary School will provide our children with a conducive learning environment, while the proposed secondary school in Samaru will create an opportunity for pupils to continue their education beyond the primary level.
“The National Open University study centre and computer-based testing centre at Dogarawa will also expand access to higher education and digital examinations.”

Regarding healthcare, the Speaker noted that the diagnostic centre would enhance medical investigations, and the new 20-bed facility would boost primary healthcare services.
He said, “The 20-bed healthcare facility at Zangon Dan Borno must deliver quality care. This requires qualified personnel, reliable services and an effective referral system to ensure that the people receive the attention they deserve.”
Abbas also mentioned that the proposed police station at the Queen Elizabeth Area Command would strengthen security and improve emergency responses.
“The police station will support faster security responses and strengthen cooperation between security agencies and members of the community,” he said.
He thanked Tinubu, Sani, and other stakeholders for their support in promoting development and security in the state.
The Speaker urged contractors to follow approved specifications and timelines, while asking residents to protect the facilities and oversee the use of public funds.
He said, “These projects are part of our commitment to translating the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda into tangible benefits for our people. We must ensure that every project is properly executed and delivered to serve its intended purpose.”
Abbas assured residents that he will keep working on development projects and provide oversight to ensure their completion.
Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, the representative for Sabon Gari Federal Constituency, said Abbas has helped bring many projects and empowerment programs to his constituents.
Abdullahi shared that beneficiaries of these programs have received motorcycles, grinding machines, and financial support for small-scale businesses.
