The Chairman of Zee 1 Triple T Company Limited and Founder of the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group, Azeez Ibrahim, has said that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, also known as YAYI, has gained strong support from youths, women, and community leaders in Ogun State due to his empowerment programs, infrastructure projects, and educational support initiatives.

Ibrahim believes Yayi is the main contender for the upcoming Ogun State governorship election.

He said that Adeola’s achievements and focus on the people's welfare make him stand out from other candidates hoping to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Ibrahim shared this while talking with political associates in Abeokuta on Tuesday. He pointed out the senator’s strong track record in public service, appeal to the grassroots, and development efforts across the state.

“Without any doubt, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is the candidate to beat in the forthcoming governorship election. His achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to the welfare of the people have distinguished him from other aspirants,” Ibrahim stated.

He added that Adeola has shown both competence and kindness in public office. These qualities, according to him, have boosted his popularity among the residents.

“YAYI has consistently demonstrated capacity and compassion. The people can see the difference he has made in the lives of ordinary citizens, and that is why his support base continues to expand every day,” he said.

Ibrahim also revealed that the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group has ramped up political mobilization efforts across the 20 local government areas of the state as the 2027 elections approach.

He mentioned that the group is focused on building grassroots structures, raising voter awareness, and encouraging citizens to take part in the electoral process.

He said volunteers have kicked off ward-to-ward campaigns to motivate residents to register, collect their Permanent Voter Cards, and prepare to vote in the elections.

“We have been telling our people to register and get their PVCs ready for APC in the forthcoming election,” he noted.

Ibrahim pointed out that the group's mobilization efforts will not only support Adeola’s governorship bid but will also back other candidates from the All Progressives Congress in the state.

He stressed that their support comes from the belief that Adeola and other APC candidates stand for continuity, development, and governance that focuses on the people.

“Our support is firmly rooted in the belief that Senator YAYI and other APC candidates represent continuity, development, and people-oriented leadership for Ogun State,” he said.

He mentioned that the group is working on a strong grassroots network that can reach every polling unit in the state, especially focusing on engaging the youth and the community.

“Our strategy is simple but effective, we are going door to door, street to street, ensuring that every eligible voter understands the importance of their Permanent Voter Card and their role in shaping the future,” Ibrahim explained.

Recall that in April, the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress named Yayi as its governorship candidate for the 2027 elections.

The decision to make the lawmaker the party’s candidate was announced during a state strategic caucus meeting led by the state chairman of the party, Yemi Sanusi, at the party secretariat in Abeokuta.
