APC Gives Flags to Seven Governors in North-West

The APC launched its presidential campaign in Kaduna, giving flags to seven governors. The party aims for two million votes for Tinubu in 2027.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, gave the party’s flags to its governorship candidates in the seven North-West states who are also current governors. This event happened on Saturday during the launch of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Kaduna. Present at the event were the President, Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, party leaders, and supporters.

The governors who received the flags include Uba Sani from Kaduna, Abba Yusuf from Kano, Dikko Radda from Katsina, Nasir Idris from Kebbi, Dauda Lawal from Zamfara, Umar Namadi from Jigawa, and Ahmed Aliyu from Sokoto. This flag presentation is part of the activities to kick off the APC’s presidential campaign.

PUNCH Online reported that Kaduna was selected for the flag-off after the party decided it would host the launch of Tinubu’s re-election campaign. The party’s Presidential Campaign Council Director-General, Abdulaziz Yari, announced the campaign start date as October 24 after updating the President on the campaign schedule.
