The APC's Campaign Plans

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has put forward a plan for a nationwide campaign rally. This tour will cover all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory as the 2027 general elections approach.

The campaign is set to kick off in Kaduna on 24 October 2026 and will wrap up with a big rally in Lagos on 9 January 2027.

The tour will include 12 states where President Bola Tinubu is expected to show up for the APC’s presidential campaign rallies. The party aims to gather support all over Nigeria ahead of the elections.

Kaduna will be the starting point for this campaign. President Tinubu is expected to attend the opening rally there on 24 October 2026.

Rally Schedule

After Kaduna, the President will go to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for the APC rally on 7 November. He will then move on to Jos, Plateau State, on 14 November and Ibadan, Oyo State, on 21 November.

Next, Mr Tinubu is scheduled to be in Maiduguri, Borno State, on 25 November, in Enugu, Enugu State, on 28 November, and in Bauchi, Bauchi State, on 29 November.

In January 2027, he is expected to attend an APC rally in Yola, Adamawa State, on 4 January, before the campaign tour ends with a grand rally in Lagos on 9 January.

Focus of the Campaign

The APC explained that this itinerary will cover all six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The focus will be on grassroots mobilisation, keeping the party united, and engaging with the people.

“From North to South, East to West, the focus remains on grassroots mobilisation, party unity and meaningful engagement with Nigerians,” the party stated.

The APC also mentioned that the schedule may change as needed.
