Ede Elderly Woman Supports Adeleke for Governor

An 85-year-old voter in Ede, Bisi Alaraoye, said on Saturday that she believes Governor Ademola Adeleke will win the ongoing governorship election in Osun. She mentioned that voters are still supportive of him.

Alaraoye spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at Sagba Agbogunde Ward 2 Unit 9. She noted that Adeleke's work as governor has gained him a lot of support from the people.

She encouraged all voters, especially older ones, to come out and exercise their rights.

Alaraoye said the governor has done well in caring for the elderly since he took office. She believes he deserves another term to continue helping them.

"I also want the best for the state because if anything happens to me, those left behind may enjoy the dividends.
I am confident the incumbent governor will emerge victorious," she said. Her words showed her strong belief in Adeleke's chances and hope for his next term.

She urged everyone to behave themselves and remain peaceful during the election. She wants to make sure their votes count while respecting other voters and avoiding any actions that could cause trouble.

Alaraoye also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for their work to ensure a smooth election. She asked them to keep up their good work during voting and counting.

However, she called on the people of Osun to accept the election results and support whoever wins. She stressed that peace should be the priority in the state after the election.
