Governor Dauda Lawal has promised to fully support security forces in Zamfara State. He made this statement on Thursday while leading the weekly State Security Council meeting at the Government House in Gusau.
A statement from the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said the meeting included all heads of security agencies in the state.
The statement added that the council discussed ways to boost security in trouble spots.
“Governor Dauda Lawal chaired the weekly security council meeting with renewed commitment to strengthening support for the troops.”
“He assured the heads of the security agencies of his readiness to take all necessary measures to ensure the well-being of troops operating in the state.
The meeting focused on important topics, especially increasing troop presence and improving quick response during emergencies.
The governor stressed that his main goal is a safe Zamfara. He assured the heads of the security agencies that his office will always be open to them.
