Kaduna Governor Calls for Partnership in Education

Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has said his government is ready to work with individuals and groups who want to improve education.

The governor believes that investing in young people is a key way to achieve peace, growth, and development. Mr Uba Sani spoke at the opening of a new facility set up by the Christian Academy Management in Kaduna over the weekend. He was represented by the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Kaduna State, James Kanyip.

He reminded everyone that the opening is a celebration of hope, opportunity, and change. He said it shows a shared commitment to investing in our children's future and building a stronger society through education.

Governor Uba Sani said, "Education remains one of the most powerful tools for personal and human capital development and societal progress."

He added, "Every classroom built creates opportunities for learning. Every child educated strengthens our communities. Every investment in education contributes to a more prosperous future for our state and nation."

The governor stated that his government values education highly because real growth starts with an educated and empowered population. He said, "Since taking office, His Excellency has focused on improving educational infrastructure, increasing access to learning, and promoting quality education across Kaduna State."

He continued, "Our goal is clear: to make education accessible, affordable, and fair for every child. This vision continues to guide government actions in the sector."

Mr Uba Sani pointed out that educating children is not a job for the government alone. He said, "Real progress needs teamwork between the government, communities, faith-based groups, and private institutions. This is why we appreciate initiatives like this one."

He noted that the importance of the new facility goes beyond just the Ungwan Bulus and Sabon Tasha areas. He said, "It will serve as a center for learning, character building, and leadership development."

He stressed that it will help shape young minds and give them the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become productive citizens and future leaders.

While praising the Christian Academy Management for their great work in education, he said, "This investment shows a clear understanding that education is not just a social duty but also a smart investment in our people’s development."
