Tinubu Meets Akpabio Behind Closed Doors at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is having a closed-door meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Our reporter saw Akpabio’s official S-Class Mercedes drive into the forecourt of the President’s office at exactly 6:12 pm on Tuesday.

When he arrived, the Minister of Information and National Orientation was with the President.

The purpose of their meeting has not been shared.

This meeting is happening just hours before the official start of campaigns on August 19 for the 2027 elections, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
