Tipper Truck Hangs Over Kara Bridge on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

An empty tipper truck was left hanging on the railings of Kara Bridge. Another truck spilled its load on the road in two separate incidents towards Mowe, Ogun State, on Tuesday.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority shared this update on its official X handle. They said the incidents happened around 7am.

"An empty tipper is seen hanging on the railings of the bridge and another flatbed truck spilled its contents on the road," LASTMA reported.

The agency mentioned that a tow truck had come to help remove the vehicles. Police officers from Adigboluja were also on-site.

"Tow truck on ground for evacuation and police officers from Adigboluja are also at the scene," they added.

LASTMA said its officers were managing traffic moving towards Mowe. They noted that traffic was still flowing smoothly at that time.

"Officers are on ground managing the traffic movement inward Mowe as traffic is still good at the moment," the agency said.
