A video going around on social media shows a man in an AMBO shirt sharing cash with a group of women.
In the video, which became popular on Thursday, the young man in the shirt was seen giving out N1,000 notes to the women.
This happened as the All Progressives Congress held a big rally in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State. They were showing support for their governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who is also known as AMBO. This rally came just days before the governorship election on August 15, 2026.
At the rally, Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole said the APC is dedicated to peace. He urged voters to use their votes instead of turning to violence.
“Let’s be clear, we are a party of peace, which is why we are called progressive. The only ink we need is the black ink for you to put your thumbprint on, not anybody’s blood,” Oshiomhole said.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio also spoke. He told Oyebamiji to focus on making Osun State better if he wins the election.
“You must transform Osun State. As soon as you are elected on Saturday, once you are sworn in, you must begin the progressive movement,” Akpabio said.
This video comes during a time of increased political activity and worries about vote buying, threats, and violence as people prepare for Saturday’s election.
